Nueces County reported 137 new COVID-19 cases andĀ fourĀ related deaths Sunday afternoon.
There have been 30,001 total coronavirus cases reported in Nueces County, with 2,516 active cases.
None of the new cases wereĀ reported by the state.Ā The state has reported 5,198 of the county’s total cases.
Of the new cases, 83Ā were confirmed, 29 were probable and 56Ā were suspected positives.Ā There have been 21,577Ā confirmed, 7,579 probable and 845 suspected cases total.
The four who died included three women and one man who were in their 60s and 70s. They had underlying health issues such as hyperlipidemia, diabetes, and hypertension.
There have been 554 COVID-19-related deaths in Nueces County since March.
There were 183Ā patients in the hospital on Sunday, with 56 in the ICU. There have been 4,625 hospitalizations total and 26,931 recoveries.
